Is hard to believe that just one year ago Maria was struggling with Chemotherapy for breast cancer, she is now cancer free because of early detection and enjoying her family and friends.

I think the shower was a huge success and everyone had a great time. Thanks for looking.

So I did one on Monica's graduation from Elementary School, a few years ago, she is now starting eighth grade, I don't know were time has gone, my little baby is a beautiful young lady now. Some of My Favorite Pictures

from out trip to Massachusetts and our stops along the way.

Kim's House in VA.

We had such a great time at Kim's the kids all got along after 5 years of Two Peas it was wonderful to meet Kim and her family in person. The kids all want to go back.

Mayflower Beach, Denis - Cape Cod, MA

Although we have great beaches less than 30 minutes away, this beach was probably one of the prettiest beaches I have ever seen, the sand was like flour white and soft, and in the water you could see your toes. It was like a Caribbean beach only with colder waters. We loved it, we even got a good tan with Aunt Mimi's concoction.

Plymouth Harbor, Plymouth MA

On our way back to Aunt Jane's from Cape Cod we spent the day in Plymouth, we went to see the Mayflower and Plymouth Rock (small Rock), we did a little shopping then we had dinner with the family at Woods, I just love eating there.

New Your SkyLine from NJ.

There is no place like this to take in the NY skyline. To me there is nothing in the World like NY, we were not able to stop there this time, but just looking from the NJ side let's you know the beauty that city offers. I went crazy with my camera. We visited my mom's best friend from childhood she lives 2 blocks from the Blvd.

Hershey Factory in Hershey PA.

On my way home from NJ, we get a text from Stan, take (so and so road) and go to Hershey PA, the kids will love it. So silly me, I never listen to him and I did then, I drove 3 hours out of my way for the kids, and, ok for me to have my chocolate fix. It is a whole world up there, they have an amazing Amusement Park with lots of roller coaster, water park and the chocolate factory. There is a lot to do, you really need a few days there to take in all there is to do. If you ever have the chance to go there, you will love it. In this picture we are getting ready to make our own chocolate bars, the kids just loved this. Natalie's eyes were bigger than I have ever seen them, I don't remember a time were all these kids were so excited.

K I think I've summarize our trip as best I can. Thank you for sticking to the end. Have a great day.

Not So Rugged bunch

My not so Rugged Boys and the want to be Rugged ones, on Daniel's 16th birthday this year. They always have a good time. Before HS Daniel never seem to fit with the ordinary kids, he is kind of a geek, guess he takes after his Mom and Dad LOL!!! Now in HS he has so many to choose from and he has a hand full of great friends and a beautiful smart GF.

Day TWO at the zoo in 96 degrees and 100% humidity but I took them back just so they could ride the camel and feed the Giraffes, we did sweet a lot but we also had a great girls day out. We will do it again in the winter months.

Book Mark

Tell me how cute these are? and for me very use full, I cook a lot and I do a lot of recipe cooking from my WW's books this is the best bookmark I have had to date, I think I'm going to make myself a few extra ones. I you want to see how to do them check out this month's Kitchen Challenge at Challenge Masters.

ALL ABOUT ME BIRTHDAY BLOG HOP

It's my Party and I cry if I want to, Cry if I want to.....But no need to cry this is a happy 1st birthday celebration. It's our FIRST BIRTHDAY BLOG HOP at All About Me. Come on and join the fun, this is your last stop of the hop, did you have a great time? Don't we have the most talented ladies? Make sure you got here from Vicky's Blog . And that you started at All About Me blog.

I can't really do one favorite birthday, since I have so many memorable one's. Instead I looked through my old baby pictures and I found these 1st birthday pictures. We lived in Cuba at that time and although it was very difficult to buy things specially for birthdays, my mom and my grandfather always made sure we had everything. Birthday parties have always been a big part of our lives, we celebrate each and every birthday, sometimes big sometimes small but always a cake a candle and a birthday song.

Here is the phrase you need to PM Melissa, make sure you collect all the phrase to be eligible for the grand prize RAK.

Leave me a comment and become a follower and I will draw a name for a $10.00 GC to an online store of your choice.

21 {AAM Challenge# 23)

We are having a Birthday Batch at All About Me. Our first challenge is Memorable Birthdays, I have had so many because I make sure to celebrate each birthday. I don't see it as getting older I see it as God's blessing to allow me to Celebrate with my Family another year.

As a child my mother celebrated every one of my birthdays, even the first birthday I had in the U.S.A. Later as an adult I make sure to celebrate them.
I never lie about my age, what for I rather get old than the alternative, kwim. Plus, getting old just means you get to do more of what you want, the older you get the more you can do, for those of you who look at the class 1/2 empty, yeah yeah, with age comes, vision loss, back pains, bladder problems, menopause, memory loss but heck I'll take it. Since my class is always 1/2 full. My Abuela Rose always said, I'm not old I'm experience. Here is my LO.

This month we have some great sponsors so head on over to AAM and check them out and our wonderful DT LO's they ROCK.

Thank you looking and for all you wonderful words.

We are on Our Way

Big Red is doing good now and is going to take us up to MA, with no problems. With God by my side we are on our way to:

Cape Cod, via I95, Stopping in VA on our way there. We are spending a week with our family and enjoying a much cooler sea shore. I probably won't go in the water since I don't like the cold water, but I'm all packed with my camera and ready to take some awesome photos.

We are planning a trip to Plymouth Plantation and to Nantucket we will see how that goes. Have to get it all in before Stan gets in on Thursday night.

See you all in two weeks. Have fun Scrapping.
